Our efforts to mitigate potentially infectious bacteria and viruses begin where you don't notice the battle. This battle has always occurred. With the onset of COVID-19, the silent battle has taken center stage. Butte EMS have enhanced the weapons used in these battles in four distinct ways

UV Anchor

Code 3 - Vital Vio UV LED Lights

All Butte County EMS Ambulances have incorporated the Vital Vio LED/UV lights within the patient compartments. These germ killing lights are safe for our patients and crews.

UV Lights in the AC System

Air circulates through the Air Conditioning System in all Butte County EMS Ambulances, passing by UVC light. This light helps to degrade viruses and bacteria.

Spreay Wipe Anchor

Electrostatic Spray
